At South Place Hotel, genuine connections are at the heart of what we do. It’s also our goal to help you make memories and incredible moments. We have always and will continue to take care to look after everyone who walks through our doors.

We know that when you stay and dine with us, it’s more than a bed that we’re providing, it’s also safety and peace of mind. Our health and safety protocols are in place across the hotel, restaurants and bars as safe welcoming spaces for everyone.

To follow local and state government guidelines, we may temporarily close or limiting access to certain amenities if required.

HOTEL

  • All common areas and shared equipment are disinfected at frequent intervals. Hand sanitizer stations are provided throughout all public spaces.
  • All staff are required to wear a face mask in public areas and in direct guest contact, unless they are medically exempt.
  • Close-contact areas, such as the front desk, have an additional layer of protection provided by plexiglass partitions.
  • We do not accept cash payments at present in any area of the hotel and contactless payments are preferred.
  • Our complimentary bikes have an additional layer of disinfection before and after each use
  • Valet parking is not currently offered

GUEST ROOMS

  • Between each stay, all guest rooms are regularly disinfected following appropriate public health guidelines.
  • All in-room amenities, such as bath mats, scales, hairdryers and other products, will also be disinfected between stays.
  • In a few cases, we’ve removed certain guest room items as a precautionary measure or made changes to the delivery format.
  • Our in-room dining menus will be available through our app and TV system
  • Mini bar / pillow menus are disposed off between stays
  • Only residents of the hotel are permitted to our guest floors/rooms both for security and safety
  • The images shown on our website are pre-Covid and may not reflect the current set up depending on the current guidance issued by the local authorities

MEETING & EVENTS

  • Communal water pitchers can be replaced with individual bottled water and certain table top items (stationary, pens, candy, and décor) can be removed as a precautionary measure.
  • Virtual AV offerings is available.
  • New service standards training provided to all service team.
  • Sanitation stations available.

RESTAURANT & BARS

  • High-touch areas, such as door handles, pick-up counters, and team work stations, are routinely disinfected at frequent intervals.
  • Hand sanitiser are available at the restaurant’s entrance.

OUR TEAM

  • Our team are screened for signs of illness and will stay or return home as appropriate
  • Our team continuously use protective equipment, and this use is supplemented with hand-washing breaks and hand-sanitiser stations.
