At South Place Hotel, genuine connections are at the heart of what we do. It’s also our goal to help you make memories and incredible moments. We have always and will continue to take care to look after everyone who walks through our doors.
We know that when you stay and dine with us, it’s more than a bed that we’re providing, it’s also safety and peace of mind. Our health and safety protocols are in place across the hotel, restaurants and bars to create a safe and welcoming space for everyone.
All public health restrictions have been lifts in England under the Government guidance. Those displaying symptoms of any illness should consider staying at home and limit contact with others

HOTEL
- Hand sanitizer stations are provided throughout all public spaces.
- All common areas and shared equipment are disinfected at frequent intervals.
- People in England are no longer required to wear a face covering any longer, but some may choose to do so as a personal choice.
- We do not accept cash payment in any area of the hotel.
- Our complimentary bikes have an additional layer of disinfection before and after each use
- Valet parking is not currently offered
GUEST ROOMS
- Between each stay, all guest rooms are regularly disinfected following appropriate public health guidelines.
- All in-room amenities, such as bath mats, scales, hairdryers and other products, will also be disinfected between stays.
- In a few cases, we’ve removed certain guest room items as a precautionary measure or made changes to the delivery format.
- Only residents of the hotel are permitted to our guest floors/rooms both for security and safety
- The images shown on our website are pre-Covid and may not reflect the current set up depending on the current guidance issued by the local authorities
MEETING & EVENTS
- Virtual AV offering is available
- New service standards training provided to all service team

RESTAURANT & BARS
- High-touch areas, such as door handles, pick-up counters, and team work stations, are routinely disinfected at frequent intervals

OUR TEAM
- Our team test regularly for signs of illness and will stay/return home as appropriate
- Our team continuously use protective equipment and hand sanitiser
