Real Hackney Dave

Revered print artist Dave Buonaguidi, aka ‘Real Hackney Dave’ will be showcasing his iconic artwork at South Place Hotel from February 1st 2024.

Launching in the month of love, the collaboration will be hosted in the main hotel lobby, entrance hall and bar as a permanent fixture for six months.

Dave Buonaguidi started life as an artist after a successful career in advertising and today is one of the most prolific and iconic artists in London – using his print screen artwork to tell engaging stories around mass communication and propaganda to create evocative pieces that connect in an emotive and humourous way.

Real Hackney Dave’s artwork will be visible for public to pop in and enjoy as well as hotel guests. Visitors can expect to see the iconic Love Bomb sculpture in the stunning lobby entrance hall and other unique print editions including old love letters or ordinance survey maps.
