Introducing the Charles Heidsieck Terrace: A Fusion of Elegance and Flavour

We are thrilled to announce an exciting collaboration with Charles Heidsieck Champagne. From May to September, step into a realm of refined indulgence atop Anglers’ Rooftop, now transformed into the enchanting Charles Heidsieck Terrace. Nestled amidst a delicate cascade of white florals, this serene sanctuary offers an experience to indulge in the unlikely perfect pairing of Charles Heidsieck Champagne and Angler’s gourmet popcorn.

Savour the renowned Charles Heidsieck Blanc de Blancs, a symphony of elegance crafted from 100% Chardonnay grapes. Its tautness, minerality and freshness balances perfectly with Charles’ signature silky generosity and texture. To compliment the Champagne, delight in the alluring popcorn flavours of seaweed, miso, salted caviar, and strawberries and cream. All while basking in the sun’s warm embrace and enjoying breath-taking views of the city skyline.

Amidst this oasis of luxury, discover our charming swing, adorned with the same delicate florals that grace the terrace. Let yourself sway gently in the breeze, as you sip, savour, and soak in the panoramic views.

Charles Heidsieck

Charles Heidsieck was founded in 1851 by Charles-Camille Heidsieck, the original ‘Champagne Charlie’, who popularised champagne in America. Just like his wine, Charles was a man of style, depth, conviction, and character. He famously invested in the underground, cathedral-like chalk cellars under Reims. Originally dug out by the Romans more than 2000 years ago, these UNESCO-listed cellars are still used today to age all of Charles Heidsieck’s champagnes.

Today, Charles Heidsieck is the smallest Grand Marque Champagne House. The foundation of Charles Heidsieck’s modern fame rests on the unrivalled quality of their wines, which receive countless accolades year after year. This success is attributable to the talented winemakers crafting these champagnes over the past three decades. Between them, Daniel Thibault, Régis Camus, Thierry Roset and Cyril Brun were awarded ‘Sparkling Winemaker of the Year’ by the IWC sixteen times. No other house has won more than twice. The winemaking team is currently led by Elise Losfelt, who succeeded Cyril Brun as cellar master in March 2023.
