Without further a due, we must start with the best of all, Notting Hill Carnival. Every August bank holiday weekend since 1966, crowds gather to celebrate London’s Caribbean community, their culture and traditions. If you’re looking for something the whole family can get involved in, Sunday is the day for you with the children’s parade and carnival. If you’re looking for the real carnival experience, and like the sound of a hard-partying parade, make sure to go on Monday with festivities kicking off at 10:30am.

The festival scene continues with All Points East returning to Victoria Park from 18th – 28th August. Over the bank holiday weekend, listen to a varied blend of musical styles and genres including The Strokes, Olivia Dean and Haim.

Looking to get your art fix? Don’t miss out on seeing David Hockney’s ‘Bigger & Closer’ immersive exhibition before it closes on Sunday 3rd September. Located in the heart of London, at Lightroom in Kings Cross, this exhibition takes you on a journey through 60 years of work from one of the most influential artists of the 20th century.
