For our next dinner in Angler’s Hooked Dinner Series, we are joining forces with the Akashi Sake Brewery.
The legendary master brewers hooking with Angler across two nights at our Chef’s View table for a unique dining experience. All the way from the south west of Japan, the family-run brewery has been producing exceptional sake for over a century with a commitment to using the best local ingredients available.
Now landing at Angler, they will be showcasing their finest sakes in a five-course dinner with dishes from our own Executive Chef Gary Foulkes. An opportunity to experience sake in a new context, tasting the varying depths of flavour profiles from Junmai Daiginio Genshu to Junmai Tokubestu, and even a sparkling Junmai Ginjo.
If you are a Sake aficionado, or a relative newcomer to this complex drink, the Master Brewers will be guiding you through this tasting menu to uncover the delights of sake.
Join us on June 7th or 8th at 19:00 at our semi-private communal Chef’s View table at Angler, providing views over East London and into the kitchen.
The evening is priced at £165 per person plus service, covering the cost of five courses with sake pairings, in addition to a welcome and finishing drink.
