“The seventh-floor terrace at Michelin-starred fish restaurant Angler is haven for landlocked city types, who do brisk business over cured sea bass and Newlyn cod. While the hefty wine promotes French producers, this summer the terrace celebrated home-grown fizz thanks to a partnership with English sparkling wine brand Nyetimber.
In front of an oh-so-Instagrammable flower wall, the pop-up bar serves Classic Cuvee, rosé, Blanc de Blancs and Demi-Sec alongside two Nyetimber cocktails, while Chef Gary Foulkes’ bar snacks, designed to complement the bubbles, have a more international flavour: the Iberian ham croquettes and Taleffio, tomato and basil flatbread. Just don’t mention Brexit.”
