The Art of the Martini:
“I often find that a common misconception to a good martini is that it must be shaken, not stirred, but I’ve always loved a stirred martini. In fact, I’ve found that the hidden trick to a perfect martini is the length of time you stir it for. Too long and it ends up watery and warm, but too quick and you’ve got a sharp flavour and unbalanced texture.
For me, the perfect martini relies on the time taken to stir the cocktail and of course – a frozen glass. With these two steps perfected in your martini making routine, you’re well on your way to creating the perfect martini.”
