Hotel stay terms & conditions

SOUTH PLACE HOTEL CREDIT/DEBIT CARD POLICY
Debit and credit cards will be authorised at check-in for the amount of your stay, plus an amount to cover incidentals. Funds will be held until check-out, at which time the funds will be released and payment processed to reflect the total cost of your stay. Authorised amounts may take up to 30 days after departure to be released depending on your bank or financial institution. The hotel will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges.

SMOKING POLICY
Smoking is not permitted in any of the guest rooms or public areas. Guests may still smoke in designated smoking areas such as the Secret Garden Bar and Angler Terrace.

VISA/PASSPORT POLICY
Passports are required for all non-UK residents.

PET POLICY
Small pets are allowed (max. 15kg)
All animals must be fully trained and appropriately restrained by guest.
Pet must comply with local health legislation requirements.
Pet must be kept on a leash when in the hotel or on hotel property, unless in the guest’s room.
Pets must not be left unattended. If guest requires a pet-sitter or pet supplies, they should contact Concierge
Pets are not allowed in food and beverage outlets or wellness wing, with the exception of the Secret Garden.
Exclusions of pets from restaurants and wellness wings does not apply to guide dogs.
Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pet on hotel property and in the neighborhood.
Any disturbances, such as barking, must be avoided so that other guests are not inconvenienced.

Guests are responsible for all property damages and/or personal injuries resulting from their pet.
An extra room cleaning charge of £50.00 will be added to the guest account per dog per stay.
The hotel will provide specialized bedding for dogs.
Special dog place mats with food and water bowls will be provided by the hotel in the room.
The hotel reserves the right to charge guest’s account commensurate to the cost of damages made by dog.
Guests agree to indemnify and hold harmless the hotel, its owners and its operator, from all liability and damage suffered as a result of guest’s dog.
